Summertime 2026
Summertime in South Willow is the best. The weather was perfect, and the baby bluebirds are chirping in my Dad’s bluebird house. I wanted to see the Blue Moon over the barn but it was pretty cloudy at night. We had so much fun playing with our new puppy Boats! He’s a 1 pound Pomeranian with a big attitude! We went to the farmers market and got fresh blackberries, peaches, corn, and sugarplums! I bought a jar of pepper jelly and made a charcuterie board. We also had boiled peanuts, watermelon and a pineapple upside-down cake with cherries on top! The fields have tiny peanut sprouts coming up, I didn’t spot any deer this trip, but lots of fireflies and dragonflies. They remind me of fairies! I love watching the little deer families on our security cameras. Well, back to the beach for now, I want to make some freezer jams and paint.

Spring Break: April 2026
We had a fun time over spring break at our farm! They are getting ready to plant peanuts in the fields for summer as a bumper crop, after we harvested the cotton. We got a new landscaper and I can’t wait to see what he plans! I love the little grocery store up there, they have the best cole slaw and little deli. The cakes they bake are beautiful. I had a scare because there was a rat snake in the water pump house but apparently they aren’t poisonous, lol. I stuck my hand in there to cut the water on and there he was. I have also had so much fun watching the Artemis II mission. I love space & the moon. I can’t wait to see what they do next. I watched Something Very Bad is Going to Happen on Netflix it was so good! I keep rewatching it! Back to school tomorrow! Until next time.
